The company appoints its first-ever Chief Revenue Officer and Chief People Officer.
Vimeo, the world's premier all-in-one software solution, announced the expansion of its management team with the addition of executives from the SaaS industry. The company also created two new senior executive positions to accelerate its growth and global expansion.
Eric Cox has been appointed as Vimeo's first Chief Revenue Officer. Cox is a veteran leader at Adobe with over a decade of experience. His most recent roles include Go-to-Market, Product Marketing, and Sales for Adobe's Digital Media B2B business. His current concentration is one Creative Cloud and Document Cloud. Also, he led efforts across multiple strategic initiatives for Adobe, including steering their e-commerce business and growing from perpetual software into a SaaS subscription business model.
Cox will be responsible for bringing revenue from Vimeo businesses. He will also oversee a global team involving sales, customer success, business development, marketing, and operations.
Crystal Boysen is the first-ever Chief People Officer at Vimeo. Before joining Vimeo, Boysen was the Global Head of People of the Australia-based Canva. She oversaw the team that worked hard to scale all things about people and culture and expand their enterprise sales time. During her leadership (November 2019-August 2021), Canva employees tremendously grew from 500 to over 2,000.
At Vimeo, Boysen will be responsible for driving a people-first organization and culture. She will also be in charge of ensuring the company is best positioned to attract, engage and retain talent amidst the evolution of the workplace and global expansion. Specifically, Boysen will oversee the international pool of skills, including talent acquisition, human resources, employee and workplace experience, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Vimeo also added other experienced executives to its Go-to-Market leadership. Michael Schiff was appointed as head of Business Operations and Erick Cruz as head of Customer Success, both from Salesforce.
